IV Therapy FAQ

What is IV therapy?

It is a safe and effective mode for delivering vitamins and minerals directly to your body.

How does it work?

An IV is placed in your arm. An IV bag is then infused over 30-45 minutes.

Are there side effects?

Side effects rarely happen if at all. If they do they are usually minor and short lived. Bruising or bleeding at IV site is most common.

How often do I need treatment?

Some treatments are a quick fix, like hangovers.  You can discuss with your provider how frequently you can get an infusion.

How soon will I feel the benefits?

Typically you will feel the effects within an hour of treatment. Some therapies are designed for long term benefit and you may not feel the effects right away.

Do IVs hurts?

There is minor discomfort with the insertion of the catheter.
